I finially decided to create my PERSONAL Gmail account! 
I already had my business one but decided to invite myself and create a personal one to use instead of “tmontague AT lmbbox DOT com”. This way incase if anything should happen to my server or domain, etc. my email will still work! Gmail has SOOO many servers, there is pratically NO risk of any LONG periods of down time and bounced emails! Sooo … my new email that I will be using from now on is “montague DOT thomas AT gmail DOT com” … 
damn them that took my “tmontague” and “thomas DOT montague”! Oh well, I’m happy that I just have one that looks professional and will almost NEVER DIE!

A couple of things that I wanted to post updates about …
Yesturday, I finially installed the BOTD plugin that Andy Skeldon had created for the WordPress Plugin Competition and won (in the top 3). So now you will be able to see my site and posts on “Blogs Of The Day” that is if it is popular enough or you catch it early.
The next info that is coming up, is that I have a vacation planned from the 28th until the 31st. So you won’t be able to reach me and I won’t be posting or answering any emails / comments until the 1st of Aug …

Site Design Feedback?

I have been working on a new site design to use for my main site LMB^Box and I would make a WP theme to match for this blog. But … I’ve run into a few problems … I’m not to sure about the look and feel of the design. I’ve been using Photoshop CS2 to create my design and have created my images to use and have a basic template to lay all the pieces together, but I fear that the text will not be clear …
What I’m going for in a design:
Well I want a site to reflect what it’s about … Technology, Gaming, Computers, Hosting … I would like a clean, tech design that looks wonderful. I would like to have some darkness in the design but for the most part be bright … I really like grays, silver, red, black, blue … like my current blog’s theme and my forums theme.
What I have so far:
So far this is what I have …
I have created this design using Photoshop CS2 and have just added some text to show where the problems are. The Main Menu will be across the top of the page and will be drop lists (using js). Then there is my header with the site name, url, and logo. Next is a Pathway bar that will show the structure of where you are currently at. Then the main content area with two optional sidebars (think one will always be there … left). And last but not least, the footer.
Currently I’m making this design to be used with Mambo, so I may just end up replacing WordPress with Mambo even though I love WordPress … it’s just to have only one system to have to work with.
What I need is any feedback as to what you think about the design as of right now … what improvements could I make … what’s bad about it … anything at all! I believe I will end up just starting over with a cleaner design in mind and lighter / better colors. So any help / feedback would be wonderfull! Thanks all!

Site Update!

As you may have noticed, I have a new Logo! It really doesn’t look that great in my header right now, but I’m currently working on a new site design for my main site LMB^Box. And once done, I’m hoping to either update my theme here to follow suit or just update some of the graphics and logos … we’ll see what happens. I’m still working on my plugins, mainly the LMB^Box FilePress and I’m looking to have the next release sometime in the next 2 weeks. That’s it for right now … Later!
LMB^Box Comment Quicktags Updated Version 1.7.1

Updated WordPress Version!

I just got done updating my WordPress Version to 1.5.1.3! There was some security issue with 1.5.2 … but now it’s all taken care of.
On another note … I’m waiting for any feedback for my Gaming Cafe idea in my home town, Culpeper, Va. I’ll see what happens … I hope to hear some good news back soon …
It’s been awhile …

It surely has been awhile since I last posted … there’s a new update of WordPress, it’s now version 1.5.1.3. They said it was due for a security issue that they released the update, so update ASAP! On a more local note, I’m placing an ad in my local papers (Culpeper Star Exponet and Culpeper News) to see if there is any interest in a Gaming Cafe in Culpeper. I have updated my main site LMB^Box – www.lmbbox.com and the gaming site also LMB^Box: Gaming – www.gaming.lmbbox.com. I also setup my forum which I had been meaning to do since the move from the old server. It’s running phpbb 2.0.16 and I’m using a style / theme called “chunkstyle.” I like the color scheme and it’s kind of like this theme too. I will be doing more work on the style / theme and other mods on the forums when I get the time.
Yes! I know I still need to finish LMB^Box FilePress! I’m sorry I have not had the time to finish it up lately, but I will soon … hopefully. There are still many things that I would like to add to the plugin to complete it, and if you have any suggestions please post them in the comments of the FilePress plugin page or on this post. Thanks for all your support.
Site Update!

I just got done updating the site a bit. I added Google Adsense Ads to the left side of the main page. For those of you who are using a 800 x 600 resolution, I’m sorry but now you will have a horizontal scroll bar but the good thing is that you only have to scroll over once and then everything will be visable except for the Ads. Please take the time to support this site by just clicking on one, a couple, or some more of the links. All support is greatly appreciated, thanks all!
I still need to do alot of work on the site some more with the coding and layout, plus I would like to change the color scheme. Also I want to add some better images to my Meta and Links sections. I still need to try and fix the problem with IE’s display of single posts, some problem with the nav bar. And of course I need and want to finish my LMB^Box FilePress plugin ASAP!
