It is in the default WordPress theme, but it is commented out. Open up footer.php theme file and you will see this: <blockquote><code><-- <?php echo $wpdb->num_queries; ?> queries. <?php timer_stop(1); ?> seconds. --></code></blockquote> In order to use the page loading stats, just uncomment the the code by removing the <code><-- --></code> from the code. I personally like this as it lets you see if there is a slow down from a newly installed plugin or theme.
